Today I have planted and watered my greengage tree, I’ve put it by the wall after the swings in the garden so that when I redo the garden it will be in the right place.

We had Polish Christmas Eve food, with Beetroot soup to start and then the Bigos I made yesterday for mains followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding cooked by Carrie, which was lovely, light and delicious.

Nice sunset tonight but it’s not cold enough for a fire, which is a little disappointing. I’m allowed to burn stuff if the temperature falls below 10c but I think if I’m still warm without it then it’s not really needed.

We’re going to watch The Halfblood Prince this afternoon then Muppets Christmas Carol before the children go to bed.

Watched the deathly hallows part 1 afterwards and drank snowballs
